Had lunch at Tanino's today with a total of 11 rather rambunctious retirees! It's a good thing they put us off by ourselves; it wasn't exactly calm and quiet at our table. Joanne says the seniors in town would like us to come sing (and maybe bring along that flute player) one day when they have lunch in town!! Obviously they've never heard us sing, but we're just crazy enough to maybe put something together for them!!! Joe, Lauren, Jim... are you out there??? Probably plugging your ears right now!!! Of course we'll need Janice to lead us.... and of course we could tap dance???? (This paragraph gets scarier by the moment!!!) Kind of brings back memories of the old days, doesn't it folks!??? Karen and Roberta, we'll let you sing solos if you want!!!:)
At this lunch, we decided that we don't want to hear the phrase, "OLD PEOPLE," so I challenge you all to leave suggestions for words or phrases that can be used in place of the term, "OLD PEOPLE." That my friends, is your homework for today!!!!! We'll be checking the comment section!!!! I know how much retired teachers like homework!!!

I enjoyed the music and the lunch also. Haven't found a good term yet, but will keep on trying.
