Corning people can meet at CoM Glass parking lot. Elmira people-you choose! We can walk after if you choose at Havana Glenn, Hetty knows the way!

ReplyDeleteDenny & I checked out SpencerCrest today. We took one easy walk that ends up at Amelia Pond .....very nice!! .....and another one that might be tough in some spots for people who are not used to hiking. Some trails are not too well marked, but they are planning to improve the signs....don't know when that will happen. They now deciding to stay independent or letting the college take over financially. They are also expanding a "sensitivity trail" for the blind, etc. When it is finished it will be the biggest of it's kind in the state, maybe the nation. More when we meet next time. ~ M. Abbey

ReplyDeleteIs anyone interested in the hike at Spencer Crest on Thurs. Oct 8? Deb Austin & I are meeting at the Health Works parking lot around 10:15AM. Some are meeting at Spencer Crest at 10:45.
Do we want to agree to rain or shine..or all bets off if there is heavy rain?? I'll wait for you feedback.
